CHRISTIANS EQUIPPED FOR MINISTRY

The Board of Christians Equipped for Ministry wishes to thank you for your interest in Marva and her work. Marva would be happy to consider addressing and working with your group.  She comes to you extraordinarily qualified -- with 35 years of global teaching experience, four masters degrees in English (M.A.), Christian ethics (M.A.), New Testament (M.Div.), and Old Testament (Th.M.), and a Ph.D. in Christian ethics and the Scriptures. She has translated two books and written over 20 (of which all royalties are given to inner-city, education, community, and reformation ministries). Many of her books are being translated into Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and other languages.

CEM is a non-profit organization, founded to equip both professionals and lay persons for deeper Bible study and more active involvement in Christian life and ministry. Marva's honoraria and offerings/gifts to CEM pay our office expenses, salaries for our administrator, our accountant, Marva's salary and retirement savings, her medical and educational expenses, and expenses for her mission trips. CEM tithes all its income and distributes these gifts to needy students, the unemployed, and organizations that serve the poor and the Church.
